Minecraft is an entire world full of intriguing interactions and weird creatures, which is attractive in and of itself, but the most popular aspect of this game is that users can create modifications for the entirety of the world.
Regardless of what the individual players would like to improve upon, there are an infinite amount of already existing mods and an equally infinite amount of mods to be created. The Better Combat Mod is one such option in an ever-increasing variety of mods, which makes the entire gameplay much more enjoyable for the majority of players.
Today, we’ll be exploring an exciting new Minecraft mod called “Better Combat.” This mod is a refreshing change from the mundane swinging that players have been doing for ages in vanilla Minecraft. It’s definitely worth your time if you’re looking for something new. With Better Combat, you’ll immediately notice the new attack animations, and every weapon has its own unique functionality and attack animation. Swords, axes, and tridents can all be dual-wielded, adding more variety to your attack patterns.
Compared to vanilla Minecraft, which has limited weapon types, Better Combat offers more weapons to work with. If you install a weapon mod like the Simply Swords mod, you’ll have even more weapons with unique attack animations to play with. Another great feature of Better Combat is that it’s easy to use and works well in both first and third-person perspectives, which isn’t always the case with mods.
In terms of combat changes, Better Combat sits somewhere between Epic Fight and vanilla Minecraft. Epic Fight has combat that’s more punishing and locks players into animations, whereas Better Combat lets players move more freely and attack continuously. Better Combat also allows for customization, such as displaying arms in first-person and disabling hitting through grass.
Overall, Better Combat is an excellent mod to enhance Minecraft combat and make it more entertaining. It’s worth trying out and is still fairly vanilla friendly. The mod is available for both Forge and Fabric, while Epic Fight is only available for Forge. If you’re looking for a mod that makes combat more challenging and overhauls everything combat-related, go with Epic Fight. But if you want to feel like an unstoppable machine and have more variety in your attack patterns, give Better Combat a try.
