The 10 Best Talismans In Elden Ring
These talismans have been chosen based on their overall power and usefulness throughout the game.
While some are best suited for specific playstyles, we’ve tried to add a little something for everyone!
Get ready to make your Tarnished more powerful with our list of the 10 best talismans in Elden Ring:
10. Lord Of Blood’s Exultation
Kicking off our list, we have the Lord of Blood’s Exultation, a talisman that can be incredibly powerful.
What this talisman does is raise your attack power by 20% whenever there is blood loss occurring around you.
Best of all, this effect stacks with the White Mask, a helm that increases attack power by 10% when near blood loss.
This boost in attack power also impacts the damage of sorceries and incantations, making it useful for many builds.
The boost will also trigger if the player is suffering blood loss, which can help get you out of a tough situation.
You can even use this talisman during any of the boss fights against Mohg, which can be very useful!
The Lord of Blood’s Exultation is dropped by Esgar, Priest of Blood, found at Leyndell, Royal Capital in the Leyndell Catacombs.
9. Rotten Winged Sword Insignia
Up next, we have another very powerful talisman, one that can help you deal a lot more damage in combat!
The Rotten Winged Sword Insignia greatly boosts attack power with every consecutive attack, meaning you’ll be able to hit much harder.
This talisman’s effect also stacks with Millicent’s Prosthesis, a similar talisman with the same boost.
When using this talisman, there are three tiers of power increases, and they decay to lower tiers if you don’t attack quickly enough.
You will need to land at least three hits for this effect to trigger, and once it does, you will have 1.5 seconds to keep attacking before decay sets in.
Best of all, the power boost of this talisman does affect the damage of certain spells, so you aren’t just limited to melee.
To get the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, you will have to help Millicent and defeat her four sisters.
Millicent can be found at the Church of the Plague, northeast of Gowry’s Shack, next to the Site of Grace.
8. Gold Scarab
As one of the best PS5 RPG games, Elden Ring gives players a lot of freedom to explore and earn Runes.
This talisman comes in handy when you’re trying to earn as many runes as possible, and it can be a real benefit.
What the Gold Scarab does is increase Rune acquisition by 20%, allowing you to gain more runes from enemies.
You can also stack this effect with the Gold-Pickled Fowl Foot for a total of a 56% increase to Runes earned.
Having more Runes can be valuable for leveling up at any Site of Grace or buying necessary items at merchants’.
Basically, the more Runes you’re able to gain, the more powerful you’ll be able to make your character.
This talisman can be earned by defeating the dual bosses, Cleanrot Knight (Sickle) and Cleanrot Knight (Spear), in the Abandoned Cave.
The Abandoned Cave can be accessed by heading east from the Smoldering Wall Site of Grace and crossing the canyon via the tree branches.
7. Cerulean Amber Medallion
FP is invaluable in Elden Ring as it is what allows you to use spells or special skills against enemies.
Players who rely a lot on FP won’t want to pass up this talisman, as it can be incredibly helpful in making sure you always have enough.
The Cerulean Amber Medallion raises a player’s maximum FP by 7/8/11% depending on its variant.
If you want to get the base talisman that boosts FP by 7%, you’ll need to head to the Lakeside Crystal Cave.
There you will need to defeat the Bloodhound Knight, who will then drop it for you to pick up.
The +1 variant is in Castle Sol, on a corpse hanging above the southern walls, which can be accessed using the ladder behind the church.
Finally, the +2 variant can be found at the Lunar Estate Runes, inside a chest in an underground room to the northwest.
You will need a Stonesword Key to access this talisman, as it is behind an Imp Statue you will need to get past.
While getting the vest variant of this talisman can be a bit tricky, it is well worth it if you use a lot of FP in combat!
6. Green Turtle Talisman
Elden Ring may be one of the best third-person PS5 games, but the last thing you want to see is your stamina meter flashing because it’s empty!
Fortunately, this talisman can help keep you from running dry as it raises stamina recovery speed by 8 points per second.
It also stacks with the Great Turtle Shell, a medium shield, and the Pickled Turtle Neck consumable, both of which boost stamina recovery.
Best of all, this talisman is fairly easy to get, as it is located in an underground area on the outskirts of Summonwater Village.
D, Hunter of the Dead, can be found nearby, warning players of the Tibia Mariner who has taken over the town.
However, the Mariner is an optional boss, and it is possible to sneak by him and grab this amulet if you want.
That said, the Mariner isn’t too difficult to defeat, especially with summons and a ranged weapon.
5. Crimson Amber Medallion
The Crimson Amber Medallion, like the Cerulean Amber Medallion, comes in a variety of variants.
What these talismans do is raise the user’s maximum HP by 6/7/8%, depending on which one you have.
Finding the base amulet is easy, as it can simply be purchased from the Nomadic Merchant on the east of the Weeping Peninsula for 1,500 Runes.
The +1 variant is a little more tricky, as it is found in Volcano Manor, and you will need a Stonesword Key to go through the fog gate.
Once through, there is an Abductor Virgin, but you can run past it to the stairs where the amulet will be on a dead body.
Lastly, the +2 variant can be found southwest of the Leyndell, Ashen Capital Site of Grace, by dropping into the open sewer gate and onto the beam.
Alternatively, you can select the Crimson Amber Medallion as a Keepsake while creating your character.
However, this is only the base-level talisman and not the more powerful variants, so keep that in mind.
4. Radagon’s Icon
If you are a magic user, this talisman can help make some of the hardest bosses in Elden Ring a lot more manageable.
When this talisman is equipped, it will shorten the casting time of spells and give 30 dexterity exclusively to spellcasting.
This dexterity maxes out at 70, so you will need 40 in that stat already, along with this talisman, to reach the cap.
However, you should know that the increased casting speed doesn’t work on Dragon Communion Incantations.
So, if you’re someone who uses those primarily, this talisman may not be the best choice for you.
Radagon’s Icon can be found at Raya Lucaria Academy, inside a treasure chest on the second floor near the Debate Parlor Site of Grace.
From the Site of Grace, head inside the courtyard and make two sharp rights, then hop over the fence to find a ladder.
From there, climb and head through the broken window, where you will find the chest in the north section of the room.
3. Erdtree’s Favor Talisman
The Erdtree’s Favor Talisman is absolutely amazing, and we highly recommend grabbing it if you can.
Like the Crimson Amber Medallion and Cerulean Amber Medallion, this talisman comes in three variants.
Each boost HP, Stamina, and Equip Load by varying amounts, with the +2 talisman being the best and hardest to get.
The base version of this talisman increases HP by 3%, Stamina by 7%, and Equip Load by 5%.
Similarly, the +1 version increases HP by 3.5%, Stamina by 8.5%, and Equip Load by 6.5%, a solid boost.
Providing the best boost is the +2 version with 4% to HP, 10% to Stamina, and 8% to Equip Load.
To find the base talisman, you will have to use two Stonesword Keys on the double Imp Keystone next to the Stranded Graveyard Site of Grace.
The +1 variant is in a chest in the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds, and it can be accessed after fighting Mohg, The Omen, in the boss room.
Lastly, the +2 talisman is found in Leyndell, Ashen Capital, on top of a branch in a large courtyard guarded by three Lesser Tree Spirits.
2. Blessed Dew Talisman
The Blessed Dew talisman is one that is basically invaluable in a game as difficult as Elden Ring.
While you can use a Flask of Crimson Tears to keep you alive in battle, this talisman helps by providing a low level of regeneration.
When equipped, the Blessed Dew Talisman will restore 2 HP per second, which definitely adds up if you’re in a pinch.
It also stacks with most other health regeneration effects, meaning you can get a lot of healing going on with the right setup.
To find this amulet, you will need to head to Leyndell, west of the Divine Bridge Site of Grace.
You can easily teleport here from the Tower of Return in the Weeping Peninsula or head through the Fortified Manor in the Royal Capital.
However, this amulet is guarded by a Golem, which can pose difficulty for even mid-tier players.
Fortunately, Elden Ring is one of the best PS5 multiplayer games, so you can always summon friends to help you out!
1. Radagon’s Soreseal
Taking our number one spot is an incredibly powerful amulet that we can’t imagine playing without.
Radagon’s Soreseal is a beast of a talisman, and it raises Vigor, Endurance, Strength, and Dexterity by +5 each!
However, there is a catch, as this talisman also increases the damage you’ll take by 15%, which can be troublesome.
That said, this is basically offset in the early game, making it especially worth picking up at a low level.
For instance, at level 1, this would provide about 26% more health and a 16% boost to maximum Equipment Load.
This effectively offsets the 15% extra damage taken, though this does wane over time.
A level 55 player would only be seeing an increase of about 5% HP and 7% Equip Load, making it less effective.
In the late game, we would definitely recommend using the Crimson Amber Medallion instead, as it will give a larger HP boost without the penalty.
That said, Radagon’s Seal is really powerful when you’re first starting out, which is usually when you need the most help!
To get this talisman, look for a corpse in Fort Faroth by dropping through an opening in the roof and exploring the walkways.
