Just like The End and The Nether, The Twilight Forest Mod 1.8/1.7.10 can be accessed via a player-crafted portal. What makes it different from other portals is that the twilight portal is taking only a few resources.

To activate the portal, 1 diamond is essential. It measures 2×2 squares and it has a depth of one block. This is also surrounded by mushrooms, flowers and other floras that often occur naturally. As players create the little box with flowers that surround it, the box should also be filled with water wherein the diamond must be thrown. This way, the portal will be opened.

Once you get into the portal, you will appreciate the features of the place. Navigate through it and you will end up not having any idea where you came from. You will end up without having any idea on where to go. This makes it an interesting place that players should check out.

How to install?

1. Download and install the correct Minecraft Forge.
2. Download the Twilight Forest Mod.
3. Run Minecraft once to ensure that Minecraft Forge is installed correctly. A Mods button should now be available in the main menu.
4. Download a copy of the Twilight Forest Mod jar (zip) and save it to the directory %appdata%/Roaming/.minecraft/mods. The mods directory is created by Minecraft Forge in the previous step.
5. Run Minecraft and enjoy!
