Running out of inventory space happens to majority of Minecraft gamers. Most of the time, they experience this most frustrating event in their gaming life that they often look for several offers that will make them vulnerable throughout the entire game. The player is allowed to carry the backpacks, each one of them having enough storage room that will serve as the inventory space. While the game is ongoing, the player can increase his carrying capacity from 27 items above. It may even double itself in which the player will have unlimited storage capacity for all the items he acquired from the game.

You can choose from a variety of colors for the backpack. Most players prefer the leather type as the best alternative for carrying all the items throughout the game. The leather form can be used in creating another backpack that will have a capacity of 54 slots. If you want a customized one, you are allowed to design your own Ender backpack through the enderchest. That will link back to your house which will make it easier for you to carry the backpack.

This craftable backpack is efficient in improving the inventory management of a player. You can carry the inventory in the backpack without the need of going back to the chest which saves you time.

There are different kinds of backpacks that you can choose from and they are categorized into 7 types.

Tanned leather

You can get this by burning the bound leather in the furnace. With one coal, you can already gain 8 tanned leathers.

Bound leather

This one is made out of two leathers sandwiched between other strings and slots.

Upgrading backpacks

You are allowed to upgrade the rest of the backpacks aside from the ender backpack. Do this by placing the large backpack with tanned leather surrounding it.

Recolor backpacks

Using dye, a player is permitted to recolor the leather of any color he wishes.

Ender backpack

Crafting an ender backpack (formerly magic backpack) comes in a portable chest. You can only craft an ender backpack with an ender chest.

Colored backpacks

By putting any dye color in the middle, you can already craft one.

Normal backpacks

Crafting this type of backpack must go hand in hand with leather. Go for tanned leather in creating a bigger backpack.

Normal backpacks:

You craft a backpack like a chest but with leather instead of wood. For a big backpack use tanned leather instead of normal leather.

Backpacks have 27 slots (chest size)

Big backpacks have 54 slots (double chest size)

Colored backpacks:

You can also craft a colored backpack if you put any dye in the middle:

Ender backpack (was Magic backpack before):

Last but not least you can craft an ender backpack (like magic backpack before) which is a portable ender chest which shares its content with the ender chest. You craft it with an ender chest:

Recolor backpacks:

You can recolor backpacks by using a dye or the corresponding leather:

Upgrading backpacks:

You can upgrade any backpack, except the ender backpack, to a big backpack by putting tanned leather around it:

Bound leather:

You can make bound leather with two leather in the middle outer slots and strings in all other slots:

You can burn bound leather in a furnance to get tanned leather. One coal is enough for 8 tanned leather.

How to install?

Download and install the correct Minecraft Forge.
Download the Backpacks Mod.
Run Minecraft once to ensure that Minecraft Forge is installed correctly. A Mods button should now be available in the main menu.
Download a copy of the Backpacks Mod jar (zip) and save it to the directory %appdata%/Roaming/.minecraft/mods. The mods directory is created by Minecraft Forge in the previous step.
Click “Load Basic Components” when you start Minecraft.
Run Minecraft and enjoy!
