Blokkit Mod adds very some cute living blocks mob called “Blokkits” to your Minecraft world. Mobs are made from many different kind of blocks such as stone, ore, dirt etc.

Even if the name doesn’t say much, the Blokkit Mod 1.8 is an interesting mod that actually uses existing textures in order to create some new entities and monsters in this one of a kind experience. The mod is suitable for all versions of Minecraft 1.7 and above, so you should totally download it package to get the best experience.

But what does it offer? The idea is simple, you just get new mobs based on the textures that are already in the game. If you were a fan of Minecraft from the early beginning, you probably got tired of the same enemies over and over again. The Blokkit Mod Minecraft solves the issue by adding in some really cool new enemies and other interesting characters in an already crowded world, all so that you can feel better motivated to explore the game and the world that was created just for you.

You can also use the blokkits as pets and they can actually gain experience as you play since they will survive the battles with other mods. If you are lucky enough to help them reach level 5, you will actually see the blokkits evolve into new types, however they will still remain the same thing as the evolution will merely be a visual one.

Blokkit Mod 1.8 is quite impressive just because it manages to deliver an exciting and action packed experience without requiring a lot of effort from your side. It’s a really nice experience to check this out and the outcome will be more than impressive the more you play.

Aside from the experience system you get quite a lot of interesting and exciting moments all the same, such as the variety of blokkit types that are integrated into the game, some cool follow and stay commands that allow you to control them and so much more. The blokkits have an attack ability and if you can evolve them, you will see their evolved types that are rather cool and exciting.

This mod also includes some crafting which is really important in the Minecraft world, so you should totally give it a try as it’s just wonderful to say the least. The blokkits are really cute to be honest and they can bring a breath of fresh air to your normal Minecraft gameplay. All you have to do is to give this Blokkit Mod 1.7.10 a shot and check it out because the entire experience will be a lot more interesting. Sure, the main gameplay is not affected but having these cute pets here is really exciting and that on its own is very interesting to say the least!

Experience System: This mod features a simple, yet effective system to level up your Blokkit. Blokkits gain experience through battling other mobs. Currently, a Blokkit requires 250 experience to level up. Upon leveling up, a Blokkits’ HP increases (and defense power may increase in a later version). By leveling up your Blokkit, they will become stronger and will serve as a more effective defense. Every Blokkit starts at level one. Upon reaching level 5, you will have the choice to do something special with your Blokkit.

Blokkit Types: There are quite a few types of Blokkits to choose from depending on your taste and/or materials. The current available types are:

Grass Blokkit
Wood Blokkit *this blokkit is not immune to fire
Stone Blokkit
Iron Blokkit
Gold Blokkit *this blokkit levels up faster
Diamond Blokkit
Glowstone Blokkit *this blokkit lights the area around it (WIP)

Each blokkit type has a different amount of hp and ap.

Commands: All blokkits have two simple commands: follow and stay. Right click while in either mode to switch to the other. If in follow mode a blokkit is able to warp to the player if the player gets far enough ahead as with wolves. One can also view a blokkit’s stats by pressing SHIFT+right click. A blokkit can be healed at any time using an apple (5 HP).

Attack Ability: All blokkits have the ability to defend the owner by attacking dangerous mobs when in follow mode. Blokkits will only attack, however, if the target mob has attacked the owner or has been attacked by the owner. Blokkits will fight attacking mobs before going after ones attacked by the player. Attacking mobs allows a blokkit to gain exp. A blokkit’s ap depends on its type.

Evolved Types: Blokkits may be evolved into special types upon reaching certain levels. Currently, only one way of evolution is available. Once a blokkit reaches lvl 5, you will have the ability to upgrade it into a larger blokkit using a golden apple. Currently, there are only 2 larger versions of blokkits: Big and Giant. Giant is the ultimate and largest form of a blokkit, but can still level up for more health. Each Giant blokkit has its own unique look. When a blokkit evolves into a new type, its exp is reset to 0.

Recipes:

For survival mode, crafting recipes are available. By using these recipes, one can create an item with which you can spawn 1 blokkit. These items are not stackable.

Note: Renaming these items will not carry over a name to the spawned blokkit. You must use name tags
