Download Pig Companion Mod 1.7.10 (Tame, Make Pig Follow) Description:
There are two ways to play Minecraft. You can opt to play on a multiplayer server, which can be annoying if the other players start to steal your loot, destroy your house, or kill you unexpectedly. The other option is to play on single player mode, which can also be frustrating since mobs can be too tough for single players to beat successfully. Good thing there is the Pig Companion Mod that allows players to turn the pigs in the game into friendly NPCs that will help take care of the hostile monsters in the game.
Once the pigs are tamed, they will fight for you against other monsters within their range. In order to train a pig, you just need to give it seeds. And when a pig is recruited, it will follow you everywhere, and attack other monsters when they come close.
How to Equip, Train, and Make Pig Follow with Pig Companion Mod Minecraft
Before you can train a pig, you need to equip it with an armor first. You can equip a pig with an iron, leather, diamond or gold helmet. Once a pig is wearing a helmet, you can now train it. To tame a pig, you just need to feed it with seeds by right clicking it. Now the pig will attack hostile mobs for you. And to make the pig follow you around, just hold wheat in your hand.
When you use the mod, you should know the effect of equipping the pig. Leather helmet gives the pig 1.5 times more health. Iron helmet doubles the health of the pig. Gold helmet gives the pig thrice the health. Finally, a diamond helmet gives the pig five times the health.
How Pigs Attack other Mobs in Minecraft
With the use of this mod, you will have pigs that are ready to fight for you. They do well against bipedal mobs such as skeleton and zombies but are weak against spiders and Endermen. Pigs cant fly so they are defenseless against ghasts.
Zombies are scared of pigs. It is because your pig companion can easily kill a zombie. Normal pigs can turn into a zombie pigmen when hit. These mobs are much stronger and armed with a golden sword. They often come in large groups. You need to equip your pig with diamond to take care of zombie pigmen. Skeletons often dont miss. The exception is when they face pigs. A skeleton might hit your pig companion once or twice but will not manage to kill it.
Pig Companion Mod Minecraft fixed all the crash bugs of the previous versions. You can also craft a saddle in order turn the pig into a mount. It is recommended for Minecraft players who love playing in single player mode.
