In Minecraft, players can create a lectern by using various materials like wood and slabs. Start by gathering the necessary materials, such as six wooden planks and a slab. Next, arrange the wooden planks in a “Y” shape and place the slab on top. This structure will form the base of the lectern. To add shelves, place two wooden slabs on the sides of the lectern. Finally, the lectern can be used to hold books or display written messages. It serves as a functional and decorative addition to any Minecraft world..

Today, we’re gonna learn how to make a super cool lectern that’ll take your game to the next level. So grab your pickaxe, and let’s get crafting!

Step 1: Gather Your Materials

To make a lectern, you’re gonna need a few things. Here’s the list of what you’ll need:

  • 4 wooden slabs: You can use any type of wood you want. I personally love the rustic look of oak, but it’s totally up to you. You can try acacia and spruce if you wanna!
  • 1 book: Now, you can find books in chests or even craft them yourself. You’ll need 3 pieces of paper and 1 piece of leather to craft a book. Super easy, right?

Step 2: Time to Craft

Now that you’ve got your materials ready, it’s time to craft that lectern. Open up your crafting table and arrange the wooden slabs like this:
