Cracker’s Wither Storm Mod (1.19.4, 1.18.2 and 1.16.5) introduces a thrilling challenge for Minecraft players by adding three monstrous bosses that threaten the very existence of the in-game world. Instead of waiting for players to challenge them, these eldritch horrors actively seek to destroy all life on the surface of the Overworld. With incomprehensible forms and deadly innate abilities, these bosses are a force to be reckoned with. To defeat them, players must collect Withered materials and weapons to counter their unimaginable power.

Inspired by Minecraft: Story Mode, this mod focuses on the Wither Storm, a creature that evolves by absorbing its surroundings, tracking and chasing the nearest player, and constantly loading chunks. The mod allows the Wither Storm to be visible from over 10,000 blocks away, and it can pick up and consume blocks, trees, villager houses, and mobs alike.

The mod features multiplayer compatibility, boss battles, and new tools and weapons. It also introduces Wither Sickness, which can cause issues if “Smooth World” under “Performance” settings in OptiFine is not disabled. To summon the Wither Storm, players must locate a ruined house at coordinates X:0 and Z:0, where they will find an incomplete Wither-like structure. Placing the last wither skull on top of this structure will activate the summoning process.

Cracker’s Wither Storm Mod completely changes the way players approach Minecraft, and it is not recommended to summon the Wither Storm in a pre-existing world that you care about. The mod will be ported to the latest Minecraft version eventually, but older versions will not be supported.

With various deviations from the original Minecraft: Story Mode version and the possibility of unbalanced gameplay, players are encouraged to submit any issues or suggestions to the mod’s GitHub repository. As players progress through the mod, recipes for blocks and items will become available in the recipe book.
