Download Minema Mod 1.11.2,1.14.4 Description:
Sometimes, you want to record the showcase of your epic projects or creations, but you face some problems recording a video in Minecraft game such as it is jerky and not smooth. Dont worry! A developer named BarracudaATA has created a solution for this problem by developing a new mod called Minema Mod.
This is a great tool in making videos because it allows you to record smooth videos in Minecraft even at extremely low frame rates by turning the Minecraft engine into an offline renderer, no matter how slow your PC or how complex the scenery is. This is made possible by a temporary modification of the game timer that ensures a constant game time period between each recorded frame, disabling any synchronization with the actual time
Minema Mod Videos:
The Minema Mod can record by frame disguise instead of just image recorded by the third party software (like Fraps, Dxtory). What Minema Mod does is simply reduce the FPS down to 10, an incredible high FPS that the third party software cannot do, which matches the recording fps of the recorder, making the whole process a lot less heavy thus making the result smoother and better. But keep in mind that this mod is designed for intermediate users that need to record cinematic or experimental Minecraft movies rather than for normal gameplay movies.
After installing the Minema Mod, when you run Minecraft and feel like recording, simply press F4 key. If your work is done, press F4 again and the videos will be saved on your computer.
Usage
- To start and stop a recording session, simply press F4. The key can be configured in the key bindings menu. A “plop” sound indicates the start of a new recording session.
- To capture a single frame with the current settings, press Ctrl + F4. This is basically the same as pressing F2 with some graphical enhanced, such as an increased entity rendering distance. It can also be used in combination with tiled rendering to render very large screenshots.
- On default, audio is captured automatically after the recording session ended.
Note: you must set your default recording device to self-recording for correct audio capture. In case it didn’t work correctly and you want to retry sound capture, press Shift + F4.
In the standalone version, the frames are saved as single Targa files in a directory called “movies” inside Minecraft’s root directory. You can change that in the configuration file “config/minema.cfg” (not to be confused with mod_Minema.cfg, which is unused by this mod), along with some other options.
Recommended third-party mods:
- Camera Studio – for smooth camera movements during recording.
- Single Player Commands – for various configurations and commands.
How to install:
- Download Minecraft Forge
- Right click, Run as Administrator and press OK to install Forge. (You can skip this step if youve installed Minecraft Forge)
- Open Start on desktop => Open Run (Or you can use the Windows +R keyboard shortcut)
- Type %appdata% into Run and press enter
- Go to folder /.minecraft/mods
- Put the jar file of mod into mods folder and then run Minecraft. Done!
Optional patches for minecraft.jar. They fix memory leaks and “memory connection overburdened” warnings when starting massive TNT chain reactions.
It is highly recommended to also install a video encoder to heavily speed up recording and save disk space:
- Windows: Download the latest x264.exe (32bit/64bit 8bit-depth) from x264.nl and move it inside “bin” in your Minecraft directory.
- MacOS X: Download the ffmpeg package for your MacOS X version from ffmpegmac.net, extract the zip and move the ffmpeg file inside “bin” in your Minecraft directory. Make sure that ffmpeg is flagged to allow execution (chmod +x ffmpeg).
- Linux: For Debian and alike (Ubuntu, Mint, etc.), install the x264 package via “apt-get install x264”. For other distributions, you may need to compile it manually with the source code from videolan.org.
