Zoomify Mod has been released to greatly improve the experience of exploring far-off places, allowing users to easily zoom in on whatever catches their eye. The mod includes two different versions, 1.19.2 and 1.18.2 that each come with a multitude of zooming options and settings so that you can make the experience your own. Not only can you increase the level of zoom before arriving at an area, but you can also scroll up and down quickly and easily, skipping different levels and distances as you go. With Zoomify Mod, you’ll be able to get closer than ever before – bursting through boundaries to see what lies across virtual lands or deep below oceans.
There are several mods available for Minecraft that add a zoom feature, including the OptiFine mod and the Better PVP mod. These mods allow players to zoom in by pressing a designated key, such as the “C” key, and then zoom out again by releasing the key.
It’s important to note that using mods in Minecraft can sometimes be against the game’s terms of service, so it’s important to do your research and ensure that any mods you use are safe and allowed by the game’s rules.
If you decide to use a Zoomify Mod in Minecraft, there are a few things to keep in mind. First, make sure that the mod is compatible with your version of Minecraft. Some mods may only work with certain versions, so it’s important to double-check before installing.
Overall, a Zoomify Mod in Minecraft can be a fun and useful addition to the game, but it’s important to approach modding with caution and make sure that you’re using safe and compatible mods.
❓How to use
Initially, Minecraft has a keybind that overrides Zoomify by default. Go to the controls menu and make sure the Zoomify keybind (default
C) isn’t conflicting (goes red).
⚙️Open settings menu
You can access the settings menu with two ways.
- The client command
- Mod Menu settings button
You can zoom in further using your scroll wheel.
You can configure Zoomify to only be able to zoom in when you are holding or carrying a spyglass. Or even just override the spyglass zoom with Zoomify!
Show the spyglass overlay and play spyglass sound effects when using Zoomify.
14 different transitions to choose from!
- Ease in Sine
- Ease out Sine
- Ease in/out Sine
- Ease in Quad
- Ease out Quad
- Ease in/out Quad
- Ease in Cubic
- Ease out Cubic
- Ease in/out Cubic
- Ease in Exponential
- Ease out Exponential
- Ease in/out Exponential
You can even pick what transition you would like for zooming in and out individually!
Reduce your mouse sensitivity based on the amount of zoom, so you have fine control over your player.
➡️Relative View Bobbing
Reduce the view bobbing effect based on the amount of zoom, so you can walk and zoom at the same time!
Make the mouse/camera smooth, like the zoom in OptiFine.
➡️Affect Hand FOV
Turn off this setting to prevent your hand from also being zoomed in!
Completely separate zoom from normal Zoomify. Aimed for content creators, features
Hide HUD While Zooming option and longer zoom in times.
You can reset to default, make Zoomify behave like OptiFine and others!
➡️Smart Keybinding Detection
On first launch, if a keybinding is conflicting with Zoomify’s zoom, a notification will appear notifying them of this.
Absolutely NO hard-coded values. Everything about your zoom is configurable!
➡️Control the zoom speed with seconds
Instead of some stupid arbitrary value such as zoom speed, you can pick the exact amount of seconds it will take to zoom in, with a separate setting for zooming out.
This new feature is a completely separate zoom to normal Zoomify. Its primary goal is to compete with a similar feature in Camera Utils (with more settings of course) that I have seen many content creators love.
All you need to do is press another keybinding found in options! (F6 by default)
This secondary zoom has a few exclusive features but misses advanced ones present in regular zoom that aren’t really needed for the intended use case. These include:
- Option to hide HUD whilst zooming
- Cinematic camera is always on
- An increased maximum zoom in time (5secs -> 30secs)
- Toggleable only
- No transitions – linear only
- No additional mouse settings
This feature came with a semi-major rewrite to the internals of Zoomify, though you shouldn’t notice a difference. If you do, make sure to report it on the issue tracker.
